The real appeal of Bramber Cottage is it’s soulful feel – patio for alfresco dining, pool for dips, double volume living area with cosy fireplace. It has an artistic, rustic feel – screed floors and antique furnishings – Perfectly Imperfect!

The ideal spot to experience the soul of Stanford

Bramber Cottage is made up of an open plan living, kitchen, and dining area that opens onto the spacious front patio on one side and onto the pool patio on the other side offering the best of indoor-outdoor living.

The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and all the basic pantry items are supplied as well as good coffee, cleaning materials, and bathroom amenities.

The cottage is perfect for a cosy winter getaway but equally suitable for hot summer days with the pool and alfresco dining.

The interiors are a tasteful mix of antiques and modern furniture with splashes of vibrant colour, curated art and interesting objects found on travels.

Everything is carefully considered from board games to puzzles to interesting reading material, good WiFi and TV for indoors, and a village bicycle, bodyboard, and picnic equipment for outdoors.

Quaint and rather enchanting, and just a short drive from Hermanus, lies the beautiful village of Stanford, a perfect home-away-from-home destination. This quiet, family friendly neighborhood exudes the warm welcome and security of a small town is filled with the enchanting beauty of nature and historical architecture. This is where you will find Bramber Cottage, a stylishly decorated cottage where every need is gently considered, and where reconnection and regeneration is a priority.

Take in the fresh country air, gather at the market square, enjoy country alfresco dining and walks though the village.
